Ministry of Tourism affirmed that workers in the entire sector will be vaccinated by the end of May, Sky News reported Thursday.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population, all tourism workers will be vaccinated against the coronavirus, as a part of the state's plan to attract the largest number of tourists during the next summer.

A member of the Egyptian Federation of Tourist Chambers, Hossam Hazza, asserted that all Egyptian tourist facilities in Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada are fully prepared to receive any number of tourists.

Hazza noted that a number of Russian tourists are expected to visit Egypt, after resuming airlines between the two countries starting from next June.

On April, Minister of Tourism Khaled Al-Anani revealed that half million tourists visited Egypt in 2021 first quarter, which made the tourism revenue amounted to 600-800 million dollars.

Al-Anani and Vice Minister for Tourism Ghada Shalaby have reported that the number of tourists who have come to Egypt since resuming air travel last July has reached two million.

The revenues are believed to continue in rising, according to a Bank of America report, which expected revenues to recover to $ 7 billion next year, after falling by 70% in 2020. The number of tourists decreased to 3.6 million from 13 million in 2019.
