Light Rain to Hit Cairo on Thursday, 29C

Experts of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predict hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern and southern Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Meteorologists predict that moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorm sometimes, to prevail in some areas in Beheira, Kafr El-sheik, Menoufia, and Gharbia, which light to moderate rain will hit some areas in Damietta and canal cities.

Some areas in El Salloum, Marsa Matruh, Siwa, Alexandria, Baltim, and Damietta, will face moderate to heavy rain, turning to thunderstorms.

They also predict that cold weather will prevail in the western coasts, northern Upper Egypt, and Cairo, which will experience light rain in some areas.

Meanwhile, the eastern coasts will see pleasant weather, while a more moderate climate will prevail in southern Upper Egypt and South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Cairo, 26C in Alexandria, 24C in Marsa Matruh, 35C in Sohag, 35C in Qena, and 37C in Aswan.

Egypt is currently facing a wave of unstable weather, which is prevailing across Egypt from Tuesday to Sunday.
