Egypt U-23 to Face Ukraine U-23 in Friendly Next July

The Egyptian National Football U-23 (Olympic) team agreed to face the Ukrainian U-23 team in a friendly next July.

The Egyptian Football Association is still studying chances for organizing friendlies for the Olympic team before the participation of the Egyptian team in the Olympic Games.

Earlier, Rogério Micale, the coach of Egypt National U-23 Football team, reportedly prefers having a friendly game for the U-23 team against Iraq instead of Argentina in the Latin American country during upcoming international break in June, ahead of the Paris Games.

Micale clarified that the trip to Argentina would take more than 14 years, in addition, players may be exhausted due to the length of the trip.

The Egyptian Football Association is contacting the Iraqi football association for a friendly between both Olympic teams after the qualification of the Iraqi U-23 team to the Paris Games.
