Egypt, Sudan to Conclude "Guardians of Nile" Drill on Monday

The Sudanese Armed Forces announced that "Guardians of the Nile" drills with Egypt will be concluded on Monday. The final round of the exercise will take place in Um Sayalla, North East Omdurman.

Lieutenant General Mohamed Farid, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, will attend the practice with his Sudanese counterpart Lieutenant General Muhammad Othman Al-Hussein.

Egyptian-Sudanese military exercise “Guardians of the Nile” started in Sudan, with the participation of the air forces, navy, and ground forces from the Egyptian and Sudanese armies.

The military exercises included holding a set of theoretical and scientific lectures to unify combat concepts, exchange training experiences, and carry out joint sorties on different targets.

The troops also dealt with targets from different positions, and the paratroopers performed a number of free jumping exercises.
