Egypt Sees Very Hot Weather on Saturday: EMA

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts very hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Saturday.

Moreover, moderate weather is foreseen to prevail in the Northern coasts, while South Sinai and the south of the country will see extremely hot conditions.

It is also predicted that the country will witness a slight rise in the temperature.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, said that winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, South Sinai, and the south of the country.

It is also predicted that active winds will stir sand and dust in the Gulf of Suez, Gulf of Aqaba, South Sinai, and southwest of the country.

There will also be disruption of maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea with a wind speed of 60: 70 km per hour, and wave height of 3: 5 meters.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35C in Cairo, 29C in Alexandria, 26C in Marsa Matruh, 44C in Sohag, 44C in Qena, and 46C in Aswan.
