Egypt Sees Hot Weather on Thursday, Cairo 29C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Moderate weather is also predicted to prevail in the Northern coasts, while South Upper Egypt will see extremely hot conditions.

It is also foreseen that the country will witness another decline in the temperature.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted there will be a chance of light rain, sometimes thunderstorms, hitting South Sinai, South Upper Egypt, and the Red Sea mountain ranges, at intermittent periods.

Winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Northern coasts, and the south of the country.

Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, at night.

It is also foreseen that moderate weather will prevail in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Cairo, 22C in Alexandria, 20C in Marsa Matruh, 37C in Sohag, 39C in Qena, and 42C in Aswan.
