Egypt Sees Hot Weather on Friday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, and Lower Egypt, North Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and the south of the country, during daylight hours on Friday.

It is also foreseen that moderate conditions will prevail in Northern coasts.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, said that winds will be active in Cairo, West Coast, South Sinai, and the south of the country.

There will also be disruption of maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez with a wind speed of 60: 70 km per hour, and wave height of 3: 5 meters.

Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern coasts, and North Upper Egypt, at night.

It is also foreseen that moderate conditions will prevail in South Upper Egypt and South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33C in Cairo, 28C in Alexandria, 26C in Marsa Matruh, 36C in Sohag, 37C in Qena, and 39C in Aswan.
