The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountain trail, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Moreover, hot weather is foreseen to prevail in South Upper Egypt, while North Coast and Central Sinai experience extremely hot weather.
There is a 20% chance of light rain prevailing in the North Coast and Central Sinai.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moderate and humid weather is also predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 37°C in Qena, and 38°C in Aswan.
