The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in Egypt, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountain trail, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Hot and humid weather is expected to hit North Coast and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally in most parts of Egypt.
Meteorologists also expect the country to witness a noticeable rise in relative humidity throughout the day, which increases the feeling of overheating.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Moderate and humid weather is also predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 34°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 30°C in Marsa Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 40°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
