The prominent political thinker, Dr. Moustafa El-Feki, said that Egypt has taken advantage of its current presidency of the African Union (AU), in consolidating the Egyptian status inside the continent.

In an exclusive interview to “MBC Misr” TV Channel, El-Feki added that Egypt is working to quickly restore momentum to the black continent, noting that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is the first AU president to pay great attention to the continent’s people and development.

Moreover, he pointed out that Cairo is the real hub for the African activity, stressing that Egypt has never exploited its position in turning African countries against Ethiopia.

In addition, El-Feki noted that Egypt has interacted with all the issues related to the continent's countries during its current presidency of the AU.
