Egypt and Qatar have officially restored diplomatic relations within the framework of the implementation of the final statement of the recently-held Al-Ula Summit in Saudi Arabia.
"Within the framework of implementing the mutual commitments mentioned in the Al-Ula statement, Egypt and Qatar exchanged, today, Wednesday, two official notes, to resume diplomatic relations," a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry read.
