Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, discussed, during a cabinet meeting today Wednesday headed by prime minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, the latest developments of Coronavirus in Egypt, as she revealed that the number of cases during this stage is increasing, urging the citizens to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures, especially wearing a mask.
The minister also stressed that 193 COVID-19 vaccination centers nationwide have been opened so far.
Latest statistics showed that more than 137.2 million people were infected with Coronavirus worldwide, while number of deaths has risen to more than 2.9 million
The COVID-19 cases have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the outbreak in December 2019.
