Israel launched a new round of aggression on the Gaza Strip (Friday afternoon), and assassinated ten Islamic Jihad military officials, including the commander of the forces in the north, Taysir al-Jabari, and the commander of the missile unit, Abdullah Qaddoum.
Egypt resumed mediation efforts to stop the Israeli raids on civilians in the Strip.
At the same time, Israel sent a message to “Hamas” movement in the Gaza Strip and “Hezbollah” in Lebanon, calling on them to refrain from joining the war and threatening them with a severe response that would expand the hostilities further.
The Israeli army had launched its war operation claiming that Islamic Jihad was definitely preparing to launch missiles at Israeli towns, and exaggerated its demands that the organization’s leader in the West Bank, Bassam al-Saadi, be released and a prisoner on hunger strike be released.
It turned out that Israel was negotiating with the Egyptian mediator and at the same time preparing for a new war operation, and setting a list of “Jihad” targets to strike.
Circles in the Israeli army command expressed their expectations that this aggression will take three to four days.
