We wish Mo Salah would visit Egyptian Malpes- Marsa Alam; a tourist destination with untouched beauty and clean waters that reflects heaven on earth. We wish Tourism Promotion Authority could think of the feedback of his last year visit to the Malpes .

Mo Salah’s visit to El-Gouna, before he joins the national team in the African Cup of Nations due to kickstart later this month, is an international promotion picture to El-Gouna resort in specific, and Hurghada in general. Once they are posted on his Facebook and Twitter pages they will be viewed by millions of his fans as a priceless promotion of Egypt.

We did not use the opportunity as usual.

In the Malpes there were lots of photos while he was enjoying the beaches there and they went viral. The photos were taken professionally in promotion of the Malpes. They were dealt with in news websites.

While visiting the Pyramids, and Hurghada , Salah takes pictures of himself and post them on his pages or his fans take his pictures by chance, and this is a reminder.

Of course he has the right to enjoy his time with his family members and friends but this could be done in a far better way if the Tourism Promotion Authority had a plan of promotion with the world-famous player. Why don’t we put a plan of his stay in Egyptian Marsa Alam scenes which would not be different from the Malpes?

In the Camel nature reserve in Marsa Alam there are two of the prettiest beaches on the Red Sea where tourists from around the world come and visit: Hankourab and Al-Kalaan.

Why can't the ministry of tourism takes responsibility of launching the campaign and concentrate on areas of promotion in Egypt, as well as preparing videos and photos of Salah in such tourist areas? Such videos and photos could be sent to media outlets and news agencies through tourism promotion offices abroad. They could be also promoted through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

This is one of Egypt’s golden chances that must be utilized.
