Egypt, Libya WC Qualifiers Match to Take Place Behind Closed Doors

Libya national team director, Abdelfatah Kanbij, confirmed that their game against Egypt in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers will be held behind closed doors.

The Pharaohs won three crucial points on Friday night after beating Libya 1-0 to top Group F of their African World Cup qualifiers group.

Egypt dominated the game against their neighboring country, but managed to win by just one goal, which was scored by debutant Omar Marmoush.

Egypt are now topping the group with seven points, followed by Libya 2nd with 6 points, Angola lie third with three points, and Gabon are in last place with only one point.
