Egypt condemned the latest attacks by groups of Jewish extremists against the Palestinians who reside in the ancient district of Jerusalem leaving behind dozens of injured, a Statement issued by the Foreign Affairs Ministry indicated.
The state expressed its concern amid the rising violent acts and violations against Jerusalem Palestinian residents since the beginning of Ramadan.
In addition, it called for the Israeli security forces to secure the Palestinian civilians and giving them the right of praying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque freely and without prayers.
Furthermore, Egypt asked for halting any acts aim erasing the Arabic, Muslim, and Christian identity of the city's history, and holy sites.
