EGP 8.6 Bln Increase in Capital of EGX Companies

Companies listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) have increased their capital since the beginning of this year by EGP 8.6 billion.

EGX companies` capital was pided as follows:

EGP 86 million in January

EGP 3.625 billion in February, which is the highest month that witnessed an increase in corporate capital

EGP 247 million in March

EGP 558 million in April

EGP 1.6 billion in June

EGP 1.1 billion in July

EGP 100 million in August

EGP 149 million pounds in September

EGP 209 million in October

EGP 507 million in November

EGP 369 million in December.

3 companies listed on the stock exchange increased their capital during the week ending. They are Samcrete Engineers & Contractors, Rubex International For Plastic & Acrylic Manufacturing, and Egypt Gas.

Samcrete Engineers & Contractors company increase its capital from 7.7 million shares to 11.4 million shares. Rubex International For Plastic & Acrylic Manufacturing company increased its capital from 20 to 28.8 million shares. Egypt Gas company increased its capita from 24 million shares to 48 million shares for the third.
