The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced that the Egyptian Super Cup will be held on September 20.

The clash will be between Al Ahly the Egyptian Premier League winner and Al Zamalek the Egypt Cup winner.

On Sunday Zamalek made a 3-0 victory over its rivals of Pyramids in Egypt Cup final match. Achraf Bencharki scored twice as Zamalek crowned 2019 Egypt Cup Champions.

It is Zamalek`s second Egypt Cup title in a row and their 27th domestic trophy overall.

Pyramids` Abdallah El-Said sent a well-placed crossed freekick to Ali Gabr, who squared the ball to John Antwi, but in the ninth minute, the striker's effort went off target.

By Ferjani Sassi, whose strong header was cleverly saved by Ahmed El-Shennawy, Zamalek replied in the 31st minute.

Six minutes later, Pyramids` Ibrahim Hassan walked up the correct side and cut inside, but Mohamed Awad blocked his drilled low shot.

With a bang, the second half began. Mahmoud ' Shikabala ' monitored a lengthy pass behind the backline of Pyramids and sent a small cross to Youssef ' Obama, ' who was left in the 51st minute with an easy tap.

Only ten minutes later, the White Knights doubled their lead through Achraf Bencharki, who led the precise cross of Hamdy Nagguez into the back of El-Shennawy's net.

Bencharki scored Zamalek`s third objective goal in the 83rd minute. The Moroccan calmly slotted the ball to complete the low cross of Mohamed Ounajem to secure Zamalek's title.

Last July, Al Ahly secured the Egyptian Premier League title with a 3-1 win away to Arab Contractors.

Al Ahly has extended their record of domestic league titles to 41 with this year's triumph.
