On Tuesday, the Egyptian Football Association's (EFA) disciplinary committee announced sanctions on Al Ahly and Pyramids after yesterday's encounter in Egypt Cup.
The sanctions on Al Ahly include fining the club 20,000 over the insulting chants by the fans who attended the game.
In addition, Al Ahly were fined another 20,000 as the members of the coaching team stepped inside the playground without permission to celebrate with the players after scoring the first goal.
Al Ahly's Mohamed Abdel Moniem will be suspended for three games in Egypt Cup competition.
On the other hand, Pyramids were fined 20,000 for their reactions against the decisions of the official during the match.
