EDEX 2021: Defense Min., Emirati Counterpart Discuss Military Co-op

Egypt's Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki held talks on Tuesday, with his Emirati counterpart Mohammed Bin Ahmad Al Bawardi, on the sidelines of the 2nd edition of the Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2021). 

 

Both ministers discussed ways to boost military cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the armed forces of both countries as well as the latest developments at the regional and international arenas.

 

On his part, UAE's minister expressed his great happiness for the distinguished preparation and organization of the exhibition, which is one of the most significant military forums in the Middle East, stressing the depth of the historical ties between the two brotherly countries.

 

The meeting was attended by a number of armed forces leaders and military delegations from both countries.

 

It is worth mentioning that, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inaugurated the second edition of the international defense and military industries exhibition, Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX 2021), on Monday at the International Exhibition Center in the fifth settlement in Cairo.
