The Egyptian Chinese University (ECU) president Ashraf Shehy announced that the ECU is offering a number of scholarships for the sons of armed forces and police martyrs, in recognition for their sacrifices to maintain the homeland’s safety.

Moreover, the ECU is also offering full free scholarships for border provinces students who will meet the admission requirements.

The number of scholarships offered for border provinces students are about 25; they will study in the university schools including: physical therapy, engineering, economy and international trade.

“The scholarships offered for border provinces students stem from the ECU’s vital role in supporting the development of Egypt’s governorates which lack strong educational institutions,” Shehy noted.

“All students are welcome to apply through the regular admission process. Non-Egyptian, or Egyptian students with international certificates, whose exam results are announced late, will be permitted to apply after the regular admission deadline, depending on the dates of their examination results,” he added.
