Doctors Detect First Case of Monkey pox in Israel

The Hebrew Channel 12, quoting the Israeli Ministry of Health, as confirmed today, Friday, the discovery of the first case of monkey pox in Israel.

On the other hand, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that the United Nations (UN) organization will hold an emergency meeting on the outbreak of monkey pox.

It is scheduled to meet the technical advisory group on the risks of infection that could turn into epidemics, and the group advises the World Health Organization on the risks of infection that could pose a threat to global health.

Recently, more than 100 infections have been recorded outside Africa, where the disease is endemic, and the viral infection spreads through close contact with patients and is usually accompanied by mild symptoms.
