UAE Embassy to Denmark announced on Saturday that Denmark will lift a ban on flights coming from the United Arab Emirates, starting Today, according to Reuters report. Meanwhile, Denmark reported two weeks ago it would temporarily halt flights from the Gulf state for five days started on January 22nd ,after concerns were raised about the coronavirus tests administered in the emirate of Dubai before departure.

In addition, the ban was later extended until February 2nd while Denmark's authorities were in constructive dialogue with authorities in the UAE, according Denmark's transport ministry.

Moreover, UAE embassy  called Passengers travelling from the UAE to Denmark must present a negative result no older than 24 hours before boarding. On arrival, they must take another test and isolate for 10 days, the embassy said, adding that these rules apply until 28th February.

Last month, Denmark's transport minister Benny Engelbrecht said at least one citizen brought the South African variant of the virus back from Dubai, which led to the suspension of flights. Noteworthy, Emirates extended a ban on flights to South Africa, where the more virulent strain has spread since December.
