President Abdel Fattah El Sisi launched officially launched the second phase of "A Decent Life" initiative on December 28, 2020, to develop the neediest villages in the Egyptian countryside and Upper Egypt

Sisi is personally following up on the initiative’s implementation step by step.

Dozens of villages were marginalized for years and decades. The second phase of the initiative targets 18 million citizens, following the success of the first phase launched in 2019.

The second phase pays attention to the people of remote governorates, who have suffered for years and decades from poor infrastructure and the lack of services.
