The Decent Life Foundation announced Saturday that Wasl Al-Khair convoys succeeded in distributing 850.000 food boxes within the "One Million" Campaign.
The Decent Life Foundation continues its efforts with the participation of more than nine thousand young volunteers in the Foundation, As part of the "One Million Cartons" campaign, more than 850,000 cartons of foodstuffs were distributed across 24 governorates of the Republic.
The campaign comes within the implementation of social protection measures, which come in the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, to relieve the burdens of the poor citizens and the most vulnerable groups,
The field monitoring teams and volunteers at the “Decent Life” Foundation continue their efforts, in addition to the participation of the grassroots associations in all governorates, in order to identify the eligible groups, as their role begins by receiving trucks carrying social protection boxes, storing them and then distributing them to the people in various villages and centers of the governorates of the Republic during the month of Ramadan.
It is worth noting that the “Wasl Al-Khair” convoys within the “One Million Cartons” campaign come within the framework of the “Decent Life” Foundation’s belief in the societal role towards those in need, and the poorest areas, in all governorates, in partnership with the concerned authorities in order to provide a decent life and support of citizens, in coordination with the National Alliance for Civil Development Action.
The campaign of the One Million Cartons will be completed within the convoys of “Wasl Al-Khair” in the various centers and villages of the governorates, successively, in the coming days, in order to distribute one million cartons of foodstuffs to the priority groups before the holy month of Ramadan.
The carton boxes distribution targets 24 governorates: Cairo – Giza – Qalyubia – Alexandria – Beheira – Menoufia – Kafr El Sheikh – Damietta – Port Said – Ismailia – Suez – Sharkia – Fayoum – Beni Suef – Minya – Assiut – Sohag – Qena – Luxor – Aswan – Red Sea – Gharbia – New Valley – Matrouh.
