Deaths of Coronavirus in Israel  Exceed Two Thousands

Today, the Ministry of Health in Israel announced that the number of deaths due to Coronavirus infections in the country exceeded two thousands, noting that 1618 infections with the deadly virus were recorded during the past 24 hours.

The ministry, which has not revealed the total number of infections since the start of the pandemic in Israel, said that the total number of deaths due to the Coronavirus has reached 2016 cases.

However, media reports stated that a network of volunteers in the Haredi areas (Jewish extremists) in Israel is secretly providing treatment to thousands of Corona patients in their homes, as an alternative to the crowded hospitals, without the knowledge of the authorities.

Media reports revealed that the initiative started in the anti-Zionist Haredi sects that wanted to avoid using secular Israeli hospitals, but it spread to the entire Haredi community.

At least 170 patients, receiving treatment by the clandestine Haredi volunteer network, are now in serious condition, and more than 2,000 seriously ill patients have received covert treatment in the past six months.
