The Palestinian News Agency stated that the Israeli occupation warplanes targeted the Al-Faluja cemetery area in the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, a gathering of citizens at the Al-Samer junction in the center of Gaza, and a house east of Bureij in the central Gaza; as a result, 12 civilians, most of them children, were killed, and others were injured, many of whom were seriously injured.
Moreover, the death toll of jihad leaders rose to 3.
The raids resulted in the destruction of 9 residential buildings, while about 1,500 housing units were damaged, of which 16 units were completely destroyed and 71 units became invalid.
The tension in Gaza is the most severe since May 2021, following fierce military fighting between Palestinian factions and Israel that lasted for 11 days and left more than 255 Palestinians dead and 13 in Israel.
