Culture Min. Honors Icons of Art, Their Families

Dr Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, honored a group of theatrical figures and their families and sons who dedicated their holdings to the Ministry of Culture, represented in the cultural production sector headed by the artist Khaled Jalal.

These holdings will be displayed in the Museum of The National Center for Theater, Music and Folkloric Arts headed by the artist Yasser Sadiq.

On this occasion, the Ministry decided to honor these icons in a festivity on Wednesday, 23 September at 5 pm, at Al-Hanager Art Center Theater.

Abdel Dayem thanked the artists and their families for their participation in supplying the museum with rare collections, describing them as intelligent models that wish to immortalize the icons of our soft power.

The minister added that the museums of the Egyptian art contribute to preserving the history of personalities who have succeeded in drawing parts of the features of the creativity in the modern era.

The Ministry documented a part of their achievements which will remain as an example and a source of inspirations for the coming generations.

In the same context, the minister illustrated that the celebration of the artistic and cultural symbols clarifies the value of loyalty to the nation figures who have exerted a huge effort to preserve the Egyptian leadership.

It is noteworthy that within the framework of the development plan of the Museum of the National Center for Theater, Music and Folklore, the pioneers dedicated some of their holdings to the museum.

The pioneers include the Arab theater lady Samiha Ayoub, the great Madiha Hamdi, the great Amal Ramzi, the great director Samir al-Asfouri, the late Mahmoud Azmi, Tawfiq Al-Dakein, Mahmoud Al-Jundi, Saeed Tarabeek, Omar Al-Hariri, Sayed Zayan, Mazhar Abu Al-Naja, Mahmoud Masoud, Al-Qadir Zuzu Nabil. In addition to the holdings of the pioneers of the national circus:- Mahasin Al-Helou, Muhammad Al-Helou, Munir Yassin, Muhammad Muhammad Al-Gohary, Muhammad Ashour.

The Ministry is completing the procedures of dedicating the collections of the great artist Mahmoud al-Hudaini, the great artist Rashwan Tawfiq, the late Farouk al-Fishawi, the late Aida Kamel and the late Hussein Riad .
