Culture Min. Organizes 2nd Forum Of ‘The Youth of Borders’ in Aswan

Out of its determination to achieve the principle of citizenship, the Ministry of Culture- represented by The General Organization of Culture Palaces headed by Dr. Ahmed Awwad- is organizing the second cultural forum for integrating borders youth from 1 to 7 November in Aswan Culture Palace.

The forum organization comes in the framework of raising the national awareness and belonging spirit in the borders governorates areas as part of reforming the Egyptian society and merging the youth of the capital with their counterparts in the borders governorates.

It will be held with the participation of 65 young people from the areas of: North and South Sinai, Aswan and Halaib and Shalatin, The New Valley, Matrouh and Siwa oasis.

The forum includes organizing various artistic and cultural activities and events, as well as five workshops in the fields of: Leather goods, Khayamiyya, copper clipping, theatrical drama, poetry, lectures, raising awareness meetings and seminars, daily meeting about citizenship and accepting the other from 5 to 7 November.

The event will be honored by the participation of the great writer Jamal Asaad, an evening to discuss planning for the future in addition to organizing educational visits to the landmarks of Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple, Botanical Garden, Nile and Nubian Museum.

It is noteworthy that the General Organization of Culture Palaces organized the first cultural forum for borders youth with the participation of a group of borders governorates youth in Al-Asmarat culture palace held last September.

Young people from various borders governorates participated in the event. The governorates included North and South Sinai, Halayeb and Shalatin, the Red Sea, Aswan, New Valley, Siwa and Matrouh.
