In commemoration of 23 July Revolution, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, decided to open the museum of the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser on 23 July 2019 free of charge to the public.
Abdel Dayem said that the revolution of July entered the literature of Egypt's modern history, and through it, many achievements in the political, social and cultural fields were realized.
She urged young generation to visit the museum and see the eternal biography of this great leader.
The museum is located in Manshiet Bakri area- east of Cairo, on an area of 13,400 square meters, where the late president and his family lived. It includes a two floors and a private garden.
The ground and the first floors include the president's offices, his salons, master bedroom, living room, two living rooms housing his collectibles.
The landmark also includes many of his personal documents, belongings, family photographs, clothes, photo cameras, collection of pens, medals and souvenirs.
