Culture Min. Marks July 23 Revolution Anniversary in Italy

As part of culture ministry’s celebrations with July 23 revolution anniversary around the world, Cairo Opera House Band held two concerts in Italy.

The first one took place at the Egyptian Embassy in Rome. The concert was attended by Egypt’s Ambassador in Italy, Hisham Badr, a number of diplomats and public figures as well as the Egyptian community there.

The second was performed at the Egyptian Academy of Arts in Rome, headed by Dr. Jehan Zaki.

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem said that July 23 revolution is a shining memory in the march of the nation, as it succeeded in changing Egypt and realizing the dreams and aspirations of its people.

Abdel Dayem added that marking the revolution anniversary abroad sheds light on the prestigious position that stems from the oldest human civilizations.

“This emphasizes that our country was able to restore its regional and international leadership”, the minister said.

She also e pointed out to the role of the soft forces in extending bridges of communication between the peoples, especially in the immortal occasions.

Noteworthy, the two concerts were attended by by Sopranos Eman Mostafa - Rasha Talaat, Metzosoprano Jolie Fezzi, Tenor Hisham El Gendy in addition to a number of artists from San Carlo opera of Italy.
