Culture Min. Honors Arts Icons for Enriching National Theater Museum

Dr Enas Abdel-Dayem, Minister of Culture, honored a group of theatrical figures and their families.

It is worthy of note that the Ministry of Culture, represented by the cultural production sector headed by the artist Khaled Jalal, held a festivity, in Al Hanager Arts Center Theater , to honor a group of their creators and their relatives who enriched the National Center for Theater, Music and Folk Art.

Abdel Dayem said that the soft power will remain one of the bright aspects of the ancient Egyptian civilization and its symbols will remain as a sign that illuminates the path of coming generations.

Abdel Dayem said that these symbols will also be a bright model that beautifies the pages of the history of creativity, adding that the establishment of the Museum of the National Center for Theater, Music and Folklore is the base of the Museum of “Egyptian Art”.

The Centre will also consolidate the value of loyalty to creativity stakeholders who have made a lot of effort to preserve the Egyptian leadership to preserve the identity and to document the history of pioneers who have played an important role in developing our awareness and conscience.

The minister confirmed the efforts of the Ministry of Culture to preserve the Egyptian heritage, which is represented in perpetuating the memory of eternal artistic creativity and in achieving cultural effective communication between the past and the present.

The minister also thanked all those who contributed to enriching creativity, who realized the value of immortalizing the icons as inspirational elements in the national memory.

The head of the cultural production sector and the head of the National Center for Theater, Music and Folk Art thanked the Minister of Culture for supporting to the initiative to collect the belongings of the art symbols in Egypt.

He also said that the Ministry will establish pavilions in all state theaters, making them available to the public to get acquainted with the artistic heritage.

He greeted the artists and their families who donated their souvenirs to preserve Egypt's artistic memory.

It is noteworthy that the ceremony included presenting a short film about the honorees, who are:- the lady of the Arab theater, Samiha Ayoub, the great director Samir Al-Asfoury, the artist Samira Abdel Aziz, Madiha Hamdy, Amal Ramzy.

In addition to the sons and families of a number of artists who donated their relatives' possessions to the museum: Dr. Hisham – the son of the artist Mahmoud Azmy, Madi- the son of artist Tawfiq Al-Daqin, Mirette- the daughter of the artist Omar Hariri, Iman- the daughter of the artist Sayed Zayan, Maryam- the daughter of the artist Mahmoud El-Gendy, Hala- the granddaughter of the artist Zuzu Nabil, the artist Amal Helmy- the wife of the artist Mazhar Abu al-Naga, Iman -the daughter of the artist Mahmoud Masoud, Sarah- the wife of the artist Said Tarabek.

In addition to the stars of the national circus: Luba -The daughter of the lions' coach Muhammad Muhammad Al-Helou, the children of Munir Yassin, Omar – the son of Muhammad Ashour, Samir – the son of Muhammad Muhammad al-Gohary, Medhat Kouta- the son of the lions' coach Mahasin al-Hilu.
