Culture Min. Holds Meeting with Azerbaijan Ambassador

The Egyptian Culture Minister Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem held a meeting with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Egypt Tural Rzayev today.

Both officials examined strengthening mutual ties in various fields including the cultural one.

Through the meeting, Abdel Dayem asserted the deepness of the Egypt-Azerbaijan relationship. Then, she pointed out the mood of social and cultural intimacy between both peoples.

Furthermore, she expressed the necessity of enhancing the importance of cultural cooperation by increasing the number of mutual cultural collaborative projects.

The forthcoming projects will depend more on new technologies to overcome COVID-19's restrictions. Therefore, Egypt welcomed the recommendations provided by the Azerbaijan's side to widen the horizons of mutual cooperation between both countries.

On his side, he praised the artistic and cultural activities in Egypt and its achievements in various fields reflecting the cultural persity of both states.

Virtual events would one of the targeted channels to bridge between both people's voices and bring their cultures in contact.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed upon organizing a number of activities including exhibitions for Egyptian and Azerbaijan artists in Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh this December.
