Culture Min. Follows Up Al- Ismailia Culture Palace Renovation

Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, is following up the final preparations for re-operating Al-Ismailia Culture Palace after 8 months of hiatus.

The Ministry aims to carry out the development and upgrading operations during Egypt's celebrations of the anniversary of the glorious October victories.

Abdel Dayem said that the modernization of cultural sites comes to support the creative movement as one of the effective ways to raise awareness,

She noted the role of culture and arts in building the Egyptian personality and in preparing the new generations to realize the national development goals.

It is noteworthy that the maintenance and upgrading operations of Al- Ismailia Culture Palace started in early February of 2020, scheduled to be inaugurated at the beginning of April before the opening of Al- Ismailia International Festival for Documentary and Short Films; yet, this was not completed due to Corona pandemic.

In the same context, the development and raising the efficiency processes included a comprehensive replacement of the central air-conditioning system, the civil protection and firefighting system.

In addition, the Ministry re-developed the ceiling of the internal theater and the outer surface, the seats and floors, the lighting of the theater hall, the services inside the hall, the theater basement, the maintenance of the lighting and sound of the stage, cinema screen, the renewal of the theater curtains, as well as the necessary maintenance of the theater entrance panel.
