Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, today met with Assiut Governor Essam Saad discussed the ways to enhance and intensify cultural and creative activities and the mechanisms of discovering and developing talented people in the governorate.
They discussed different various methods to achieve cultural justice for the people of the villages and centers in the governorate through: inaugurating permanent outlets for the Culture Ministry's publications, organizing events in the neediest areas, making use of the open sites for the establishment of intense artistic and intellectual activities through the mobile theaters.
Furthermore, she expressed her happiness the start of this project was in Upper Egypt in Al- Fayoum governorate- at that time Saad was the governor of Al- Fayoum – "and today we reap the fruits of this project in Assiut while he is its governor."
It is worthy of note that the meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Awad, head of the General organization of Culture Palaces.
On his part, the governor of Assiut affirmed that he supports all the intellectual and artistic activities and events that take place in the governorate because the culture is the locomotive that pushes the comprehensive development movement in Egypt, indicating that the governorate is full of young talents in all fields.
