Culture Min. Announces Winners of State Appreciation Awards

Minister of Culture Enas Abdel-Dayem announced Egypt's appreciation awards for talented inpiduals in fields of arts, literature, economics, law and social sciences.

Abdel-Dayem met Head of Council of Culture Hesham Azmy to start the electronic voting in the council's headquarter.

The secretary general of the council congratulated thinkers and intellectuals on their significant mark.

Winners of the state's Appreciation awards in arts included:

Winners of the Appreciation Awards are: Dr. Abd El-Haleem Ibrahim, directors Mohamed El-Khooly and Hashem El-Nahas, in addition to Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Motaleb, author Abou Alella Salamony and poet Mohamed El-Shahawy.

The Social Science winners are: Dr. Saeed Tawfik, Mohamed Ahmed Ghonim and Samiha El-Qaliooby.

Excellence Award

Excellence awards went to Dr. Ibrahim Disooky and Ibtsam Fareed (Art), poets Foaad Taman and Ahmed Fadl Shablool (Literature). As well as Gamal Shakra, Atef Mansour and Howaida Sayed Ali (Social Sciences).

The Nile Award:

The Nile Awards went as follows: Dr.Ahmed Nawar, Art, Dr. Gaber Asfoor, literature, in addition to Mofeed Shehab (Social Science) and Palestinian architect Rasem Badran.

Photography: Asmaa el-Nawawy, Sculpture: Najeeb Moen, Music Composing: Ruled out, Theatrical Direction: Tamer Karam Ayoub Mostafa, Theatrical Writing: Ruled out, Construction and Constructive Culture (Cultural Buildings and Urban Environment): Mohamed Abdel Hamid Mohamed Obeid.

Literature

Applied study in the Arab narrative: Alaa Abdel Moneim Ibrahim Ghoneim Amer, Linguistic Analysis of Literary Text: Ruled out, Poetry: Abdel Rahman Mustafaa Mustafa Meqled, General Poetry: Kamel Kamal Kamel Ahmed Mabrouk, Historical Novel: Ahmed Mohamed Saad el-Din Ismail, Very Short Story Set: Mohamed Ahmed Hassan el-Hedeni
