CPA Lifts 500kg Obese Citizen out of Balcony

An Egyptian citizen weighing 500kg has been lifted by Egyptian Civil Protection Authority (CPA) from his apartment's balcony and taken to hospital for treatment.

Mahmoud Madi Abu-Zeid appealed to the governor of Cairo, Khaled Abdel-Aal to help him get out of his apartment to receive medication and treatment.

The governor immediately urged men of the CPA to take the necessary measures to help Abu-Zeid, get out of his apartment.

The CPA managed to remove the apartment's balcony balustrade using the district's equipment, elevating Abu-Zeid on a hydraulic lift towards the ambulance vehicle.

The apartment is located on Al-Dayer Al-Sharqi Street in Kafr El-Alou area next to Al-Taawun Mosque.

Upon orders from Abdel-Aal, the citizen was transferred to Shoubra General Hospital (Kitchener) to receive all necessary treatment.
