On Monday, the Russian Ministry of Health began a mass vaccination campaign of the population against COVID-19 infection.

Russians who are willing to be vaccinated can choose between two vaccines, Sputnik V and EpiVacCorona, according to TASS news agency.

On January 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to move from large-scale vaccination of vulnerable and high-risk groups to mass vaccination.

On her part, Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing Anna Popova announced that Russia can vaccinate 60% of the citizens within one year, which is a 'great achievement'.
