COVID-19: PM Witnesses Vaccination of Citizens at Fairgrounds in Nasr City

Egypt's Prime Minister (PM) witnesses on Thursday the vaccination of citizens at the fairgrounds in Cairo's Nasr City.

 

This came as part of an ongoing national vaccination campaign against Coronavirus.

 

On Wednesday, Health Minister Hala Zayed reviewed, during a press conference, the latest developments regarding the epidemiological situation across all governorates and the change in the number of infection rates.

 

On his part, Health Affairs Presidential Advisor Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din said that the decisions of the Egyptian Cabinet’s supreme committee tasked with managing the coronavirus crisis come in the interest of citizens.

 

In televised remarks to ‘Sada El-Balad’ TV channel, Tag El-Din stressed that Egypt is currently witnessing a decrease in Coronavirus cases.

 

He also urged citizens to abide by COVID-19 precautionary measures to avoid infection.

 

On Wednesday, the committee tasked with managing the coronavirus crisis, headed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly decided to extend COVID-19 measures till end of May.

 

Yet all public gardens, parks, and beaches will be allowed to reopen.

 

Two weeks ago, the Egyptian Cabinet imposed new COVID-19 restrictions to curb the spread of Coronavirus cases.
