ENPPI head coach Helmy Toulan has put interested suitors on alert after confirming that centre-back Osama Galal wants to leave the club.

Galal is one of the most promising prospects in Egyptian football right now, with many clubs, most notably Al Ahly, revealing interest in signing him.

During the 2019/20 season, Galal made 25 appearances for the Petroleum club, helping them to a solid sixth place.

He is, however, yet to play any game for ENPPI this season and was left out of the club’s squad for their past three games.

Zamalek have already expressed their interest in signing the defender, with their assistant manager hopeful of completing a move for the Egypt U-23 international.

On Saturday, Toulan revealed the young player's wish to depart ENPPI and take the next step in his professional career.

“Osama Galal is a homegrown player and I try to help him,” Toulan said.

“He wants to leave, whether it’s move abroad or to Zamalek or Al Ahly, and I have no problem with that,” he added.

Galal was part of the Egypt team that won the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations back in December of 2019, earning qualification to the 2020 Olympics.
