The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has killed 505,000 people worldwide and infected more than 10.3 million others up to Tuesday.

According to the latest figures and statistics collected by experts of Johns Hopkins University ,USA, today, the Coronavirus, in the country, which tops the list of countries most affected by the pandemic, claimed the lives of more than 126 thousand people, while the number of infections reached 2.6 million.

In Brazil, more than 58,000 people have died since the outbreak of the Coronavirus there, and about 1.4 million infections have been recorded so far.

Britain placed in the third place in the number of deaths across the world, where 43,659 deaths were recorded and more than 313 thousand infections were recorded.

Italy came fourth the number of deaths that exceeded 34 thousand, and 240 thousand infections were recorded.

France recorded about 30 thousand deaths and more than 201 thousand infections, followed by Spain, which recorded more than 28 thousand deaths and about 250 thousand infections.

Although Russia is ranked third in terms of the number of infections, it recorded more than 640 thousand cases but only 9,152 deaths.

She came after both the United States and Brazil, since the outbreak of the Corona virus began there earlier this year.

Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stressed in a statement yesterday, Monday, that the world is still far from containing the novel pandemic of Coronavirus despite efforts to overcome the crisis.

On the other hand, Anthony Fauchi, chief expert of infectious disease in the United States of America (USA), said that the high rate of infection with the Coronavirus reported by several states could indicate that the disease may be out of control.

He recommends the authorities to replace the standing health systems and introduce new more effective ones soon..

"The United States is vulnerable to an increase in the number of infections, after the lifting of restrictions on economic activity." Fauchi told CNN.

"When you start seeing more cases in hospitals, this is definitely a warning sign that you are in a situation where you are going in the wrong direction," he added.

Well-informed sources said that 114,000 people have died so far in the United States of the deadly virus.

About 6 US states are seeing a new rise in the number of patients with the Coronavirus in hospitals.

The states of Texas and North Carolina announced on Friday that the largest number of patients with the Coronavirus has been registered in hospitals since the outbreak of the pandemic.

On the other hand, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (USDCP) revealed that the total number of people infected with the Coronavirus in the United States reached two million and 16027 people, meanwhile the total number of deaths was 113914 deaths.

The USDCP added that the number of deaths increased by 947 to reach 113914 deaths.

The statistic of the "COVID-19" cases and deaths is still going higher and higher in the recent weeks. The USDCP numbers do not necessarily reflect the data issued by each inpidual state. The United States is the most affected region in the world by the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
