Coronavirus: Egypt’s Cases Tally Reaches 331,017

On Sunday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 933 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 331017.

 

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 18,651 nationwide after the ministry announced 59 deaths.

About 644 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 278267.

 

Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
