Coronavirus: 6 mosques closed in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced on Saturday that 6 mosques in 4 regions were temporarily closed after 6 cases of Coronavirus were confirmed inside them.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a total of 224 mosques were closed in the Kingdom within 27 days, 208 of them were opened after the completion of sterilization, in the context of ensuring the safety of worshipers.

Noteworthy, Johns Hopkins University announced on Saturday that more than 116.1 million people were infected with coronavirus worldwide, including 2.58 million deaths.

The COVID-19 cases have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the outbreak in December 2019.
