Coronavirus: 14 Mosques Closed in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced on Monday that 14 mosques in 4 regions were temporarily closed after a number of cases of Coronavirus were confirmed inside them.

 

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a total of 475 mosques were closed in the Kingdom within 57 days, of 454 them were opened after the completion of sterilization, in the context of ensuring the safety of worshippers.

 

Latest statistics showed that more than 131.3 million people were infected with Coronavirus worldwide.

 

The COVID-19 cases have been recorded in more than 210 states.
