Congresswomen Talib, Omar to Visit Al Aqsa Mosque

Israel worries that the two Democratic congresswomen, Ilhan Omar and Rachida Talib, will pay a visit to Al Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Palestine.

They will be escorted by a number of Palestinian officials during that tour according to Israeli media.

Israeli Channel 13 news pointed said that Israel is preparing for such a possible visit.

The two congresswomen will arrive in Palestine next Friday.

The Israeli channel quoted inside sources said that the Israeli authorities have taken secret preparations through  the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in order to allow the two democratic congresswomen to enter Israel despite their strong positions against it.

Sources revealed that the Israeli authorities directed the police and other security agencies not to harass the American guests over their visit to the holy mosque.

Israel is very sensitive towards hurting the political ties with US Democratic Party.

The channel went on to say that  the Under- Adviser of Israeli National Security Ruven Azar  held a secret meeting ahead of arrival of the two Muslim Congresswomen.

They have affirmed their support to campaign named Boycott, Disinvestment and Sanction (BDS) Israel.

Both of them submitted a motion to the House of Representatives to permit citizens of the United States to join campaigns call for boycotting Israel.

Azar's office instructed officials of various ministries not to leak any intelligence of that secret meeting due to sensitive nature.

He assured that the Israeli government would not allow the two congresswomen to visit other districts of the occupied Palestine.
