Cold Weather Prevails across Egypt on Tuesday

Meteorologists predict cold weather in the daytime on Tuesday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt, while moderate on South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will be very cold at night in all parts of the country, and frost cover is expected in central Sinai.

Active winds and dust are expected in northern parts of the country until northern Upper Egypt, Suez Canal cities, Sinai Peninsula, and the Red Sea mountains, which affects visibility, and exacerbates the cold weather feeling.

Medium to heavy rains is expected in the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt. Medium rainfall is expected in Greater Cairo and the southern parts of the Nile Delta.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be very rough, ranging between four and five meters in height with northwestern to southwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.75 meters in height with southwestern to northwestern surface winds.

Temperatures are expected to be 16°C in Cairo, 17°C in Alexandria, 17°C in Marsa Matruh, 19°C in Sohag, 18°C in Qena, and 19°C in Aswan.
