Cold Polar Current Prevails Egypt on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) unveiled Saturday its weather forecast  predicted to hit Egypt from Sunday, April 11 to Thursday, April 13.

The report showed that a cold polar current reached the country after it led to snowfall over large parts of Europe such as Poland, Bulgaria, Belgium, Britain, the Netherlands, and Germany.

The current led to pleasant weather, with the temperature decreased significantly on Saturday and continues on Sunday.

Pleasant weather is expected to prevail from the north of the country to Cairo, during daylight hours.

It is also foreseen that moderate weather to prevail in the South of the country.

Cold weather are predicted to prevail in across the country, at night.

Winds will be active in this period, which will increase the feeling of cold.

It is also predicted there will be disruption of maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
