Arab's contribution to civilization and culture through history is well recognized, but, the Arabic contribution to the world culture nowadays could not be well documented or observed. However, Dr. Magdy Youssef deeply sheds light on the current contributions of the Arab in five different world domains such as natural sciences, arts, architecture, sociology, and literature.

Youssef highlighted that this book is trying to set an encounter between the orient and the west to detect the Arabs' significant touches to today's world and to deepen the concept of conversation between cultures.

He pointed out that the book contains the most significant topics that were discussed at a conference held in 2009 by the International Association of Intercultural Studies and it was held at UNESCO's headquarter in Paris.

The renowned professor added that this book tries to introduce a new approach for the contributions of Egyptian and Arab experts in the current scientific fields of studies. He continued that it also attempts refuting the myth that the Arab scientific scene achievements are only a continuation of what the western experts and scientists did.

Youssef's participation at the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF) was aired on Wednesday on the official platform of the event.
