"Chucky" TV Series Drops Thrilling Full Trailer

USA Network and Syfy released Monday a new trailer for the upcoming TV series "Chucky".

The trailer was world premiered as part of the show's Comic-Con@Home panel, which revolved around the 30+ year legacy of the Child's Play franchise and featured never-before-seen interviews with the franchise creator Don Mancini and many fan-favorite cast members.

The series revolves around a sculpture artist teenager (Zackary Arthur), who is bullied and sort of lost after the recent death of his mother. He finds Chucky at a yard sale and buys him, but it turns out that he gets much more than he bargained for.

The series also stars Lexa Doig, Devon Sawa, Barbara Alyn Woods, Teo Brione, Alyvia Alyn Lind, and Björgvin Arnarson.

It will also feature Alex Vincent as Andy, the original child tormented by the doll in the first movie, and Christine Elise McCarthy as Andy’s foster-sister, Brad Dourif as Chucky, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, and Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany Valentine, Chucky’s Bride.

Don Mancini serves as the showrunner, who will be penning all ten episodes of Season 1 as well as directing the pilot, which is titled "Death by Misadventure".

The series is set to debut on USA Network and SYFY on October 12.
