Head of the National Institute for Astronomy and Geophysics Gad El-Qady revealed that the Chinese rocket "Long March 5B rocket", which got out of control, passed through Egyptian airspace at 10:42 pm for a period of 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

El-Qady indicated, in a statement, that the rocket will pass again through Egyptian airspace at dawn around 4:47 am for a period of 2 minutes and 7 seconds southwest of the Western Desert.

On her part, Rasha Ghoneim, Head of Space Research Lab. at National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics said that the size of the Chinese rocket is about a ton, 30 meters long and 4 meters wide, orbiting the Earth at different altitudes of 20km, 160km, and 270km, and an average speed of about 28,000 km/ hour

Ghoneim added that the rocket is able to orbit around the earth in a full rotation within 89 minutes and will re-enter the Earth's atmosphere in the coming days due to the increasing interaction with the atmosphere that attracts it to the planet earth.
